READY TO INSTALL IN FOUR WAYS
1. TILE it like regular ceramic wall tiles – You can use any tile adhesive; I designed the perforated wood backing to increase its adhesion to the wall.
2. HANG it with screws/nails – I can put sawtooth hangers on the backface.
3. STICK to any flat surface – I can put a double-sided mounting tape into the shipping box.
4. SCREW it to the wall – I can open screw holes near the edges.

CLEANING IS NOT A PROBLEM
Clean with soapy water and soft clothes. Do not use abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals.

MAINTENANCE
Copper ages over time; however, my protective coating layer will protect your copper artwork for many years.
Spray glossy clear lacquer once a year to preserve the same color tone for more time.
I recommend letting it age beautifully, as most people do.

– I spend many days or weeks making a piece with thousands of hammer strokes.

HOW WILL I MAKE YOUR ORDER?
I will;
1. Cut a piece of copper sheet with metal shears to make your copper artwork.
2. Hand-hammer the design and the background texture with various chisels on my anvil.
3. Anneal the copper piece many times to make it easy to form.
4. Finish the work in your color choice. The patina process (artificially aging copper) takes many days; silver plating copper results within a day.
5. Wrap the wood backing with the finished copper artwork using a wooden mallet.
6. Apply many thin layers of clear glossy lacquer.

HOW CAN YOU DISTINGUISH SIMILAR BUT MACHINE-MADE PRODUCTS SOLD AS HANDMADE?
– Look closely at the listing photos. If the embossed design has sharp edges and the background is plain without a texture, the product is machine-made.
– Ask the seller for a video of the production progress. Since they machine-press their products in seconds, like printing with printers, they won9;t be able to provide proof of hand-hammering.
– Ask for a large custom size, which they can not make with their machines.
